Scolthead - Norfolk

Amazing day!  Sea so warm and inviting on such a hot day - it was like being abroad, but a lot less people!  Swam loads and Kayaked back against the tide, which was hard work - got home and was burnt to a crisp!

A great day out!

In the Sea! Cogden, Dorset

Sat 4th June

Swam with Bro SW and P - was cold but not too numbing.
Those two dived straight in - took me a bit longer, like in, then out, warm blood up like a reptile, then in again, keeping head above water at all times, I wonder if it would help if I wore a woolly hat, hummm there's a thought.

Swam to meet SW and P, swam back to shore, and could swim no more as my muscles had packed up!
Shoals of Mackeral dancing on the calm surface - waited for a dolphin, but alas, no dolphins.

Lovely picnic on the beach - was sunnier than in the photo (taken with my phone). Some black clouds appeared and we headed home.
